Description

Kaizen Aero Fluid 5M-A is a highly refined, medium viscosity mineral oil containing an extreme pressure additive as well as additives to provide good oxidation and corrosion protection. Kaizen Aero Fluid 5M-A is used for the lubrication of gears where high tooth loadings exist. Kaizen Aero Fluid 5M-A is particularly recommended for the lubrication of translation units of contra-rotating propellers, radar gearboxes, constant speed alternator drives. AeroShell Fluid 5M-A is also used in those helicopter transmissions (gearboxes) which require use of a MIL-PRF-6086 oil.

Applications

KAIZEN AERO FLUID 5M-A is recommended for aircraft gas turbine engines of the turbo-jet, turbo-fan, turbo-prop, and turbo-shaft (helicopter) types in commercial and military service. It is also recommended for aircraft-type gas turbine engines used in industrial or marine applications. KAIZEN AERO FLUID 5M-A is approved against the Standard Performance (STD) classification of U.S. Military Specification MIL-PRF-23699. It is also compatible with other synthetic gas turbine lubricants meeting MIL-PRF-23699. However, mixing with other products is not recommended because the blend would result in some loss of the performance characteristics of KAIZEN AERO FLUID 5M-A. KAIZEN AERO FLUID 5M-A is compatible with all metals used in gas turbine construction, as well as with F Rubber (Viton A), H Rubber (Buna N), and silicone seal materials.
